Terms & Conditions — Pafill

1) License & Restrictions

• You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the Application on devices you own or control.
• You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, decompile, translate, create derivative works of, or redistribute the Application, except as permitted by applicable law.
• All rights, title, and interest in and to the Application and its content remain with the Service Provider.

2) Account & Authentication

• You may create an account with email/password or sign in with Apple or Google. You are responsible for the accuracy of your information and for keeping your credentials secure.
• You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your country) to use the Service.

3) Content You Enter

• You can enter budgeting data (e.g., salary, expenses, savings, goals, limits). You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of the data you submit.
• No financial advice: Information in the Application is for general budgeting/record-keeping only and is not financial, investment, or tax advice.

4) Local Notifications

The Application may schedule local device notifications (daily/weekly/month-end reminders). You can enable/disable them in iOS Settings or in-app. No push notification service is used.

5) Subscriptions & In-App Purchases

• The Application is freemium. Some features require a paid plan purchased via Apple In-App Purchases.
• Billing & renewal: Subscriptions are billed to your Apple ID and auto-renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage and cancel in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.
• Trials/changes: If offered, trials convert to a paid plan unless canceled before the trial ends. Prices may change; any change will apply at the next billing period and will be shown in the App Store.
• Refunds: Purchases are processed by Apple. Refunds are handled under Apple’s policies; contact Apple Support for billing issues.

6) Data, Privacy & Deletion

We process personal data to operate the Service. Our practices are described in the Privacy Policy (incorporated by reference).

Immediate account deletion: If you delete your account in-app, we delete your account and related budgeting records from our primary database immediately (subject to short-term operational logs and legal obligations). See the Privacy Policy for details.

7) Connectivity & Device Requirements

• Some functions require internet access. You are responsible for any carrier or data charges and for keeping your device charged and functional.
• We do not guarantee that the Application will be compatible with every device or iOS version.

8) Availability & Changes

We may change, suspend, or discontinue the Application or any feature at any time. We may also release updates that you must install to continue using the Application.

9) Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• use the Service in any unlawful way or to infringe others’ rights;
• attempt to access the Service by automated means or bypass rate limits/security;
• upload malware or attempt to disrupt or overload the Service.

10) Third-Party Services

To provide the Service we integrate with: Sign in with Apple and Google Sign-In (authentication), Apple In-App Purchases (payments), Postmark (transactional email), Upstash Redis (rate-limit counters and OTP handling). Each third party’s terms and privacy policy apply in their scope.

11) Disclaimers & Liability

• The Application is provided as is without warranties of any kind.
• To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service Provider will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, or revenues, arising from your use of the Application.

12) Termination

• You may stop using the Application at any time.
• We may terminate or suspend access immediately if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your license ends and you must delete the Application.

13) Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated Terms in the Application and update the effective date below. Your continued use constitutes acceptance.
